First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii during his working visit to the United States, met with leaders of the parliamentary group of U.S.-Ukraine friendship, congressmen Marcy Kaptur and Sander Levin.
During the meeting the congressmen expressed hope that Ukraine will manage to overcome political instability, and assured that the United States remains a big friend of Ukraine.
The participants of the meeting also discussed creation of a permanent joint working group between the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the U.S. Congress.
